Dr. Christian Overman

Dr. Christian Overman is the founding director of Worldview Matters, headquartered near Seattle, Washington, USA.  This organization is dedicated to invigorating the workplace and renewing the community by helping followers of Christ to recover from secularized thought, and to connect the biblical worldview with everyday life.

For eight years, Dr. Overman served as the Director of Research and Development for The Biblical Worldview Institute, Puyallup, Washington, a division of Cascade Christian Schools. This organization is dedicated to helping school teachers connect academic subject matter with the bigger picture of a biblical worldview, making biblical worldview assimilation a part of the everyday school culture.

Dr. Overman also served as the headmaster of a Christian school in Seattle for fourteen years. He is an adjunct faculty member of Seattle Pacific University, and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Bakke Graduate University, where he focused his studies on theology of work.

An international speaker, Dr. Overman has taught on the topic of biblical worldview throughout the United States, as well as in Central America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He is the author of Assumptions That Affect Our Lives, God’s Pleasure At Work, The Difference One Life Can Make, and co-author with Don Johnson of Making the Connections: How to Put Biblical Worldview Integration Into Practice.

Christian and his wife, Kathy, have been married since 1970. They have four adult children and ten grandchildren.
